Who we are
A Ugandan foundation, working the common people
Mpenzi Children Foundation Africa is based in Kampala. We work where we can see the results ourselves — in classrooms, in school yards and in the neighbourhoods children walk home through.
- Run by people the children can ask real questions of anything.
- Boys and girls taught together, so silence does no extra damage.

Simple, close to the ground, and followed up

School by school
Delivered with head teachers, in the classroom, rather than handed out at arm’s length.

We go back to see whether a child actually stayed – that is the number that matters.

Health sessions run openly and in plain language, so silence does no extra damage.

Uniforms, shoes, books and sanitary supplies are as useful to us as cash.
