Most of what we do is carried by people who showed up and offered. There is room for you.
The work
What volunteers actually do
- School visits — sorting and handing out supplies, and sitting in on the sessions.
- Teaching — running menstrual health sessions with girls and boys together.
- Clean-up days — clearing drains, paths and open ground with the young people who live there.
- Follow-up — checking, term by term, whether the children we placed are still in class.
What we ask
Turn up when you say you will, treat the children and their families with respect, and be willing to do the unglamorous parts. No particular qualification is needed for most of it.
